Check your model year first. The MAF-less conversion applies to vehicles that came with a MAF sensor from the factory, roughly 2005–2008. Later cars have no MAF sensor from the factory, so the conversion does not apply and is not needed.
How it works
With the conversion, the ECU no longer measures air mass directly. It calculates it from air density — pressure and temperature — using a calibrated model of the engine's volumetric efficiency.
What is involved
- The existing MAP sensor is replaced by the supplied MAP sensor, which is plug-and-play.
- One wire needs to be added to provide the IAT signal to the ECU.

Is there a performance benefit?
No. The conversion is for convenience, or for intake setups that can no longer retain the MAF sensor. It does not add power.
