Reading out your TCU for a transmission tune

A TCU readout is only needed when there is no readout of your specific TCU on the server yet.

In most cases one already exists and there is nothing for you to do — your transmission file is prepared without any extra step.

If you have been asked for a readout, it means your TCU is one we do not have on file yet. Here is how to complete it.

Completing the readout

1. Log into RevFlash.
2. Run the vehicle identification.
3. Press Ctrl + T. A new window will open.
4. Complete the readout. It may take two attempts — a first failure is normal.

Sending the file

The file is saved with the default name aq250.tcu. Send it by email and your tuned TCU file will be prepared and added to your account.
